Why getting the installation right matters
Even a good air conditioner will struggle if it’s the wrong size or in the wrong spot. A unit that’s too small runs flat out on a hot January day and still can’t keep up. One that’s too big switches on and off constantly, wastes power and doesn’t remove humidity properly.
A good installation means:
- The right size for the room or house. We work out the load from the room size, insulation, windows, ceiling height and which way the room faces. We don’t guess.
- The right position for the indoor unit, so air reaches where you sit and sleep, not just the doorway.
- A sensible outdoor unit location: good airflow, out of the worst of the salt spray where possible, easy to service, and considerate of the neighbours.
- Neat pipework and drainage, done to the manufacturer’s requirements so your warranty stays valid.

Ducted air conditioning

Built for coastal conditions
Living near the water in Batemans Bay, Malua Bay, Broulee or Tuross Head is great. Salt air is hard on outdoor units, though. Where it suits the site, we can talk to you about:

- Site visit and free quote. We look at the rooms, where the units can go and how the pipes will run. Then we give you a written quote.
- Installation. We install, test, and show you how to use the remote or app.
- Clean-up and paperwork. We take away packaging and leave the job tidy. Our installation workmanship is covered for the same period as the manufacturer’s warranty.
